Custom Builder in Participates in National Association of Home Builders Forum
Succasunna, NJ—Donald and Daniel Dyrness, President and Vice President of Spectrum Construction & Development Co., Inc. attended National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Builder 20 Club meeting from October 8 – 13, 2003 at the Hotel Monaco in Chicago, Illinois. NAHB’s Builder 20 Club program is a unique networking and education opportunity available exclusively to NAHB members. Groups of 20 builders from similar, non-competing home building businesses meet regularly to discuss proven techniques and the latest trends in design, production, and management. The knowledge they gain from each other enables Builder 20 Club members to improve their business operations, increase the quality of the homes they build, and raise their standards of customer service.
“We discussed a wide range of topics at our Chicago meeting from rental real estate to managing our business through advanced computer scheduling systems”, says Don. “The sharing of ideas and ongoing communication with builders who are operating businesses similar in size and scope has been a tremendous advantage to us in developing our business.” The general feeling of the Builder 20 Club members is that they will reap the benefits of their participation through improved operations and pass this expertise on to their customers through improvements in the homes they build. Spectrum Construction & Development Co., Inc. is a member of the Craftsmen club that meets several times a year.
